Hertz is a world's leading vehicle renting organization, operates from approximately 7,700 locations in 145 countries worldwide. They were looking to facilitate their clients with a fast, easy, intuitive way to sign agreements and receive them by email.


The Problem

Before implementing the Glory Star tablets, customers were using large amount of paper for authorizing signature documents at car rental locations. This is the reason they named the project "Paperless branch" / Digital branch. Not only does paper create additional unnecessary costs , it is cumbersome, so shifting from paper-based to a digital (secure) process shortened the lines and made the entire customer experience to a much friendly one. There was a difficulty in finding a tablet that will perfectly suite customer needs. Robustness Direct connection to electricity and lack of battery.


The Solution

The Glory Star JARVIS 10inch tablet and Comda digital signature system displays documents for the signatories and are used as a graphical signing platform. Customers can also photo other documents and certifications and attach them with the tablet camera. The entire solution integrates with Comda's digital signature system – the server names it Signer1. The android capabilities were utilized in order to build a paper like user experience with the highest level of security.
