The Problem

To standardize In-store Screens in USA, Europe and Asia

Toys R Us was searching for solutions to standardize and digitalize instore screens to captivate children and parents attention in creating a retail experience when entering into the world of toys at Toys R Us. The problem lies on measuring the return for investment on digital signage in shop, consolidating all brand’s video contents, and conducting a large scale installation, maintenance of hardware and video content management.

The Solution

In-Store Commercial Screen with Anti-Vandalism Enclosure and Secured Software

In 2009, Toys R Us have installed 18.5inch Glory Star In-store screens in United Kingdom over 80 stores

In 2011, Toys R Us Australia have 10.4inch Glory Star in-store screens in Australia in 34 stores

In 2012 to 2015, Toys R Us Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore have been using Glory Star’s 10inch screen.

After the success in UK, in 2014, Toys R Us have installed 18.5inch in-store screens in 865 stores in USA.

Glory Star 18.5” Commercial In-store Screen allows it to:

1. Play Video contents 24/7 in continuously loop with high definition.

2. Update contents by USB and password security

3. Securely fix it on to retail shelves to prevent vandalism

4. Standardize the “look& feel” of each store locally or internationally.
